INGREDIENTS NOTES
Here’s everything you need to make these fun Christmas sugar cookie shots –
HOW TO MAKE SUGAR COOKIE SHOTS
Using a butter knife, coat the rim of each shot glass with a thin layer of frosting.
Fill a small bowl with Christmas sprinkles and gently press the rim of each shot glass into the sprinkles fully covering all the way around. Take care to not twist the shot glass in the sprinkles, but press it, lift the shot glass, rotate slightly, and then press the uncovered portion of the rim into the sprinkles again. Repeat this until it’s covered, but be sure to lift and rotate, don’t move it around while buried in the sprinkles or it actually removes the frosting.
Add the Bailey’s, vodka, half n half, and amaretto to a cocktail shaker.
Gently shake or stir to combine.
Strain into the prepared shot glasses, equally. Cheers!
TIPS FOR SUCCESS
-
I suggest serving immediately upon mixing. If only storing for a short period (like hours), just cover and store them in the fridge. The dairy can act up when stored mixed with the alcohol too long.
-
I tend to use already chilled ingredients, but if your liquids aren’t chilled, add a couple pieces of ice to the cocktail shaker before mixing.
-
You can use other Christmas sprinkles as well. Easy for matching party themes, etc.
